Audience growth
People discover your show, watch it through, and subscribe. No vanity views.
Measurable & scalable
The same episode can reach hundreds of people — or a whole country.
Proprietary algorithm
The world’s only algo built around completed hours — the highest-quality attention.
What it is
A YouTube ads tool made for podcasters
Getting new audiences to watch your episodes and stick is the hard part — and paid promotion has always felt like a gamble podcasters skip.
YouTube ads are measured in views — but a view is no proof anyone watched. Hourcast changes that: instead of chasing views, it goes after completions: people who stay to the very end.
Your episodes appear as recommendations placed among organic results. Budget flows to where a completed hour costs the least — the highest-quality attention there is.
- Reach new listeners on YouTube while you focus on the content
- Run it yourself in 10 minutes — your account, your budget, no agency
- A proprietary algorithm built around completed hours — the highest-quality attention you can get
Track the one metric Google can’t optimize: Cost per Completed Hour.
Clear actions, not raw data. Adjust bids, mark done.
Every ad group, ad, and audience — ranked by CpCH.
For whom
Built for shows like yours
Every YouTube Podcast
You put real work into every episode — and want more people to hear it.
Shows ready to scale
The early grind is behind you. Now you want growth you can control, not growth you wait for.
Personal branding
One person, one face, getting known. Completed hours mean time spent with you — and trust.
Company podcasts
Your team makes great content but isn’t an organic expert. Hourcast is your distribution arm.
Podcast agencies
You produce and grow shows for clients. Hourcast is a growth channel you can offer.
Trust-based sales
Products bought only on trust, like investments. Completed hours build that trust at scale.
The grind
“Why is growing this show such a slow grind?”
New episode goes live. Mostly your existing subscribers see it, plus a few new faces. Then it flattens.
The algorithm favors what’s already big. If you’re still growing, reach comes slowly.
New formats, better thumbnails, sharper hooks — you do your part. Who sees it is up to the algorithm.
The work gets better. The reach barely does.
Another episode, another solid push — same plateau. Month after month.
Organic tops out, no matter how good you get.
Sound familiar?
You do all the right things. And still, it stalls
- You push hard, but the growth you get back stays small
- Great evergreen episodes peak in days, then quietly fade away
- Social media gets engagement, but the impact stays unclear
- Your whole channel sits at the mercy of the algorithm
- You try plenty of things, but nothing moves the needle yet
The result: you keep putting in the work, but new audiences come in a trickle.
The outcome
Listeners who finish the episode — the deepest attention there is
New people discover your show and listen right to the end. That’s how an audience gets to know you, and keeps coming back — the kind of attention a brand is built on.
- An audience that gets to know you and remembers you
- The deepest attention — full, undivided, to the end
- Business results — more recognition, more customers
With Hourcast
Growth, in their words
Before Hourcast was a tool, it was a service. These clients were first.
“Organic keeps recommending me to the same kind of people. I wanted out of that bubble.”
I cover ETFs, crypto, personal finance. Organic worked well, but recommendations keep landing with similar people. With paid promotion I now reach completely new audiences on top of an already strong channel. Paid viewers aren’t passive: they like, comment, and boosted episodes keep living for months. Completions, viewers, subscribers — everything is climbing.
JakubFounder & Host, trading and personal finance channel
“We were skeptical. Then we understood: completed hours are trust.”
Podcasts put our founders in front of people as faces they know — instead of bombarding them with sales ads. We doubted this method at first, but we’ve seen that people genuinely watch full episodes. Self-reported attribution tells the real story: clients say the podcasts are what made them invest. That’s why we invest in this kind of visibility.
PeterHead of Marketing, an investment company from CEE
“A way to buy the highest-quality time someone can spend with your podcast. A genuine invention.”
I do the podcast alongside my other work, so I don’t have time to babysit campaigns. This runs, reports, and I just decide what to scale. And it’s completely transparent — I see the exact impact of every euro, no black box.
NicoleMarketer & Host, marketing podcast
“We compared the cost of a completed hour against every channel we buy. As a source of visibility, it absolutely makes sense.”
People need to know a brand like ours before they buy from it. So we did what we always do: put the numbers next to every other channel we run. An hour of someone watching our content to the very end holds up against anything comparable we buy. It earned its place in the mix.

How it works
CpCH: Cost per Completed Hour
Hourcast runs on Cost per Completed Hour (CpCH): what you pay for one full hour watched to 100%, start to finish. The metric podcasters should have had a decade ago.
It’s the strictest measure there is. A view means a few seconds. A completed hour means someone heard your entire episode.
That’s the most valuable attention you can get — nothing wins a new audience or new business like it.
Google can’t optimize for it. Its algorithms were built for 25-second ads, not 60-minute episodes.
Hourcast runs a custom algorithm built only for longform — episodes under 7 minutes won’t even start.
The algorithm calculates CpCH for every ad, moves your budget toward completed hours, and hands you the next move.
Everything it does
Why Hourcast actually grows your podcast
Grow beyond the algorithm
No more hoping the algo picks you. When you pay, you get seen — your growth is in your hands.
Built only for podcasts
Made for full-length episodes, not 15-second spots. Every rule tuned to longform watching.
Scale with no ceiling
Start small or go big — your reach grows as far as your budget goes, far beyond what organic allows.
Content recycling
Recycle a great episode from a year ago — push it to new listeners today.
Measurable
Every buck tied to deep watching — by ad, by audience, by device. No more guessing what your ads did.
Reach the right listeners
Your podcast shown to people into your kind of show — not random viewers who bounce in seconds.
Recommended actions
Exactly what to change next: pause this ad, lower mobile bids, drop this age group. You just apply it.
Full control
Runs inside your own Google Ads account. Set the budget, keep the wheel. No admin access handed over.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Do I need a Google Ads account?
Yes — Hourcast runs inside your own Google Ads account, so you’ll need one. No account yet? You’ll set it up first: business details, a payment method, then your first YouTube Video campaign. A guide in our dashboard walks you through all of it. You don’t need existing campaigns or any ad experience to start.
What is cost per completed hour (CpCH)?
It’s what you pay for one full hour of your podcast watched to 100%, start to finish. A “view” only means someone opened the video; CpCH measures deep watching. Google Ads doesn’t have this metric — Hourcast calculates it for every ad, every day.
How much ad budget do I need?
Start with around $15–20 a day — roughly $500 a month. That gives Hourcast enough room to find what’s working and put your budget behind it. $15/day is the practical minimum — below that there’s too little to go on.
This is your Google Ads spend on YouTube, separate from your $20 Hourcast subscription.
How does Hourcast actually work?
One transparent script inside your Google Ads account calculates what a completed hour costs you for every ad, and moves budget — inside limits you set — toward the episodes people finish. The rest it hands you as Actions: you review, you apply.
Does Hourcast take control of my Google Ads account?
No. You paste one script into your own account and authorize it through Google’s standard screen — no admin access handed over. It’s transparent: you see exactly what data it sends, and it only reads your YouTube Video campaigns, not your conversion or other campaigns. Remove it anytime.
How soon will I see results?
Your first data appears the day after setup. Budget shifting begins around day 5, once campaigns have enough completed views, and results compound over 2–3 weeks.
Will running ads hurt my organic reach?
No. Paid ads don’t hurt your organic videos — and they don’t push them either. The two run on separate YouTube algorithms, and YouTube knows your in-feed ads are ads.
This was tested in a reproducible way: an in-feed campaign ran for a week while organic reach was tracked, then the campaign was switched off and organic was tracked again. No effect in either direction — and you can rerun that test on your own channel anytime.
Does Hourcast work for audio-only podcasts on Spotify or Apple?
No. Hourcast works only with video podcasts on YouTube, through Google Ads. Episodes also need to be 7+ minutes.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No longterm contracts. $20 per month, cancel whenever. Reactivate anytime.
